Take a trip along Galway Bay to the charming fishing village of Kinvara, where you’ll visit the Dunguaire Castle. Then head into the Burren – a unique limestone landscape rich in native flora and ancient history. Admire Neolithic wonders like Poulnabrone Dolmen, the Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, and the mysterious Ballyalban Fairy Fort – said to be home to Ireland’s mischievous little men in green hats!

 

Travel through the historic village of Kilfenora, known for its ancient Celtic Crosses, and Lisdoonvarna, home of the world-famous matchmaking festival. Stop for lunch in the lively coastal village of Doolin before arriving at the Cliffs of Moher. Standing 200 metres high and stretching 8km along the Atlantic coast, you'll have at least 1.5 hours to explore this natural wonder.

 

Return along the scenic Coast Road with more views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. Enjoy a short walk across the lunar-like landscape of the Burren, spotting unique sights like the Leprechaun Head, before arriving back in Galway around 6:00 pm.
